The Most Wonderful Time of the Year Christmas Greeting Card

Hey there Peeps! Its November now so of course we are all in a mad rush to get cracking on our Christmas projects.  I find it's much more fun to be creative now before all the hustle and bustle begins...not to mention baking loads of cookies and shopping  and cleaning.

This card has so much whimsical charm. I just love a snowman.
I'm using the chippie frame to be a sort of wreath behind the arrangement.
Pine cones and evergreens are always the perfect accent to holiday cards.
Tucking in a sew snowflakes...every snowman needs some snowflakes. Look how well the frame coordinates with the holiday patterned papers.
I think this festive card would look great used as Christmas decor sat on a mantle or shelf or tucked into a tree.
I chose the chippes and gave them a good wipe down to prepare the for altering.
Flat white acrylic paint is a great foundation for adding layers.
Finishing up with sparkly embossing powder makes them dreamy.
This color combination is very retro inspired and I was glad to alter the chippies to coordinate perfectly.

Wishing you all a happy and productive day with lots of time to be creative : ) G
