China Cabinet by Shanna

Hi everyone, it's Shanna here today to share a fun project.  I love storage and this China Cabinet is amazing!

I covered everything using some Tim Holtz papers for a vintage look.

I numbered the boxes and colored them to match the papers.

I filled it with a few nick knacks from my goodie containers to showcase the inside.

Here you can see the inside of the bins. Big enough for lots of goodies.

Thanks so much for looking!

Scrapbook layouts by Shanna

Good morning everyone!  Shanna here to share a layout. I have had this photo of my daughter for a while and I absolutely love it. I was waiting for the right papers to create it and here it is. I love these papers and then I got the idea to use some of the Texture Sheet - Checkerboard style.

First I gave it coat of gesso, then used some spray to give it color. I really wanted it to pop so I used a palette knife to spread texture paste across,  not to fully cover but just to make it pop.

I also used a key from the Keys and Plates Set. I gave it a coat of some Inka Gold and then some chalk to dull down the shine.

I had to finish the layout with some flowers and some splatters and I thought the title Hide n Seek was perfect for this layout. It was her favorite game once she got her feet.

We just love the vintage inspired look of this piece.  Can you see the letter "I" hiding inside the bird cage? What a great idea!

Cards by Shanna

Shanna here with two cards to share. I thought the Arched Windows Set would be a great piece for this card. I colored the chipboard using some Prima Chalks and then gave it a coat of glossy accents.

Here you can see the Fern Fronds with a pastel Prima Chalk.
For my second card I couldn't resist using the Cartographer collection with this fabulous Hot Air Balloon Net Style .
I first coated it gesso, then more Prima chalks, followed by Gold Foil Prima Bloom Spray.  I heat set that,  then I used Lindy's Sandra Dee Flat Fabio spray to darken it up.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you were inspired to create your own creations!
